firmly believes in giving back to the community in which we live
& work.
Mazzei
Electric's founder Frank Mazzei, currently
serves as President of The Nanaimo Dragon Boat Festival. He has
been on the committee since 2003. The company also provides electrical
requirements for the Canadian Cancer Society's Relay For Life
event in Nanaimo which raised $225,000 in 2008. Mazzei is the longest
standing member of the Nanaimo Relay For Life committee.
Frank
Mazzei is also on the board of directors for the Nanaimo-based Kids
International, a group which helps children in third-world countries.
Additionally,
Mazzei Electric provides
financial support for the Nanaimo Clippers, the Vancouver
Island Raiders, the Nanaimo Timbermen, and the Electric
Lizards Dragon Boat team.
